真鍮の板を刃物で麻の葉文様に彫刻し上段面を透けるまで彫り込み、中段、下段と重ねる事により和の伝統工芸【透かし】の技術を使いひとつひとつの面を美しく際立たせています
古めかしくも美しい彫刻面を戦場に
麻の葉文様には「魔除け、成長」の意味が込められており古くから生活に根付いた文様です

Hemp leaf pistol grip 1911

A brass plate is engraved in a hemp leaf pattern with a knife and carved until the upper surface is transparent, and by stacking it on the middle and lower stages, each surface is beautifully emphasized using the traditional Japanese craft [watermark] technique.
An old-fashioned and beautiful sculptured surface on the battlefield
The hemp leaf pattern has the meaning of "amulet, growth" and has been rooted in daily life since ancient times.
